Yoga to the Rescue – for back pain – Saturday 29 September 1230-1330hrs
My name is Laura & I have been a certified yoga teacher since 2015.
I teach my dream job at various centres and Pure Gym.
I chose to become a yoga teacher because it has helped my body heal after injury & illness. After injuring my back in the gym many years ago I started practicing yoga & very quickly felt the amazing benefits it has on my body & mind.
Therefore I decided I wanted to share my own experiences & try to help people who have suffered with injuries & illnesses as I believe without yoga my life would be very different.
Yoga helps to increase strength in specific muscles & muscle groups which are needed to keep the back healthy.
I will take you through a class designed to target important muscles such as the abdominals & muscles around the spine & lower back.
But of course you don’t need to be suffering with back pain to join this class as it will benefit everyone to build strength in these areas & to learn what you can do if you suddenly suffer from back pain.
Who doesn’t want a strong core & spine back!
