Laura McCrimmon

I completed my 200hr teacher training in 2011 with the wonderful Mona Warner of Janati Yoga and since then I have continued my education by taking various further trainings and workshops in both yoga asana and philosophy with Mona Warner, James Boag, Jambo Truong, Kia Miller, Sadie Nardini, Kathryn Budig and Taylor Harkness to name a few. However, I owe most of my inspiration to my visits to Yogis Anonymous in Santa Monica with their down-to-earth and realistic approach to making yoga relevant to modern life.  I completed my advanced 500hr yoga teacher training in 2017.

Incorporating Yoga in to modern day health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance to me and therefore I have attained a distinction in my Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Science and Medicine from The University of Glasgow and am close to completing a Medical Degree at The University of Aberdeen in 2020. Being able to increase quality of life and providing education about healthy, happy living through experiences with healthcare my dream and the reason I do what I do.

Lila – Divine Play – Saturday 21 September – 1000-1130hrs

Lila – A class steeped in the concept of Divine Play.

All of us at some point have taken our Yoga practice or lives too seriously and lost sight of the joyfulness and creativity we are here on planet earth to enjoy! This class will be steeped in the wisdom of Lila or divine play as a reminder to embrace a more playful and ‘cosmic’ perspective rather than getting lost in the trappings and practicalities of mundane daily life. You can expect to breathe, move, sing, dance and rest deeply. You are all welcome, just bring and open mind, an open heart and we’ll fill them up with joy!
